If forecasters have it right, another one of those incidents is on its way.The National Weather Service is reporting another weather will move into the area tonight.As of mid-morning, the forecast was for rain mixed with snowflakes in the metro area, with snow falling and sticking at elevations above 1,000 feet and in the Columbia River Gorge. However, “a good deal of uncertainty remains in the details,” according to the hazardous weather advisory.East wind will accompany the rain, particularly near the gorge.Wet weather is expected to linger through Christmas, though temperatures will rise slightly, making the odds of a white Christmas about as long as winning the lottery.last_img
